APICS Educational Society (Vancouver Chapter) formally announces the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held during the professional development meeting (October 20^th, 2011). We would like to invite all members of the chapter to attend the AGM. The AGM is a great opportunity to meet other Board members and hear about the activities of the Chapter from the past year, as well as our plans for the upcoming year.

APICS Vancouver Board Member Nominations

The APICS Vancouver Chapter is currently looking for new Board members for 2011-2012. The Board of Directors can be a wonderful opportunity for interested members to help develop and deliver services to members and develop closer ties with peers. Board members contribute to the development of the chapter, as well as provide input into the work of other committees and the ongoing business of the Board. In order to broaden member representation on the Board, we are particularly interested in receiving nominations from members located in the GVRD.

Additional Board information can be found in the attached document, “Considering Joining the APICS Vancouver Chapter”. Please find attached the Nomination Form for the 2011-2012 APICS Vancouver Chapter Board of Directors. Those nominated must be current members of APICS.

If you are interested in becoming a candidate for one of these Board positions, please forward the completed Nomination Form with your agreement to serve and the nominations of two other members of

the chapter, to the Nominations Committee, two weeks prior to the Annual General Meeting for

the APICS Vancouver chapter at the following address:
